Manu has taken Twitter to announce about the new Xiaomi phone with Qualcomm officials in his twitter post. And, the tweet suggests us that Xiaomi will be launching a smartphone featuring the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series processor, which was announced a couple of weeks ago — further suggesting us that the new Xiaomi phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 730 processor that was announced not long ago.
Qualcomm has recently released Snapdragon 730, and 730G mobile platforms catered to powerful gaming smartphones and are supposedly said to be AI-driven as well. The Snapdragon 730 is said to be supporting Full HD+ display and is accompanied with Wi-Fi 6 support as well. The SD 730 is 11nm based octa-core chipset featuring Adreno 610 GPU and will also support Bluetooth 5.0 and Quick Charge 3.0 as well.
While we are almost halfway through the year and Xiaomi had launched four of its smartphones catered to budget and mid-range smartphone segment already, this new announcement suggests a fifth phone powering the latest Snapdragon chipset. Well, it appears Xiaomi might launch this new product with most likely the Snapdragon 730 SoC catering to sub-Rs 20,000 or Rs 25,000 price bracket. At this point, it is still uncertain whether it is the Mi A3 smartphone – the successor to the Mi A2, the Android One powered Xiaomi phone. The official announcement and the availability of the new device is still unclear, as of now. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
