Motorola has been the news lately for its much anticipated Moto Razr Foldable smartphone, the prototypes had been all over the internet recently. Lenovo-owned Motorola had also launched its mid-range smartphone line-up the Moto G7 series, this year. Late last year, the company had unveiled the Motorola One Power smartphone under Android One program. Well, a new report suggests that the successor to the Motorola One Power is on its way to launch this year and is believed to be called as – the Motorola One Vision smartphone.
According to the folks at XDA Developers, and a reliable source who had shed some information about the upcoming Motorola One Vision smartphone. The phone is said to be code-named ‘Robusta2’ similar to earlier released Motorola One and Motorola One Power smartphones, which had the codenames ‘RobustaS’ and ‘RobustaNote’ respectively.
Further, the new Motorola One Vision would be featuring Samsung’s Exynos processor instead of the conventional Qualcomm or MediaTek’s chipsets. It is said that Samsung’s Exynos 9610 SoC would power the One Vision smartphone along with another unannounced smartphone codenamed ‘Troika’ from Motorola. The chipset is built on a 10nm process which has four Cores-A73 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz speeds and four ARM Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz as for GPU it has ARM’s Mali GPU as well.
The report further reveals some essential specifications of the Motorola One Vision smartphone that include – 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of storages respectively. Furthermore, the camera set up on the One Vision is said to be having an identical setup of what we have seen on the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 7, featuring a 48MP primary camera. The report indicates that the Exynos 9610 SoC is capable of multi-frame image procession and also has Quad Color Filter Array for handling noise reduction and dynamic range. Moreover, the One Vision is said to be powered by a 3500mAh battery and would be shipped with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box, which isn’t surprising since it is Android One-Powered smartphone and we can expect the upcoming Android Q update to the One Vision Smartphone as well.
The display of the Motorola One Vision is yet to be known; however, it might be featuring a 21:9 display (similar to the recently launched Sony Xperia phones) and also might come with a punch-hole for the front-facing camera (identical to Galaxy S10 line-up), according to the report. The launch and pricing of the Motorola One Vision smartphone are still unclear, as of now.
