After unveiling the Motorola One Power smartphone at the IFA 2018, the company launched it as Moto P30 Note in China. As announced earlier, Motorola launched the Motorola One Power Android One smartphone today in India. Though the Motorola devices always offered close to stock Android UI, the company is now adding Android One branding. Last year’s Moto X4 was the first ever Android One smartphone to launch in the US. Now, the Motorola One Power will be the company’s first Android One smartphone in India.
The device comes with a metal unibody design and sports 2.5D curved glass on the front. It sports a 6.2-inch MaxVision display with Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The Motorola One Power comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform and packs Adreno 509 GPU. The Indian variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage on this device.
Talking about the dual rear cameras, the Motorola One Power sports 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The device supports AI scene detection and portrait mode. For selfies, there is a 12MP single front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. With the P2i nano-coating, the device at least splash proof. The Motorola One Power is backed by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery and comes bundled with 15W Turbocharger.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 156 x 76 x 8.4 mm and weighs 198 grams. The rear-facing fingerprint sensor on the rear also features the Moto logo. Coming to the pricing, the Motorola One Power will be costing Rs 15,999 in India.
