Last year, there are rumors that Motorola is going to launch Razr-branded foldable smartphone in 2019. A few reports even suggested the device to cost as much as $1500. In the last couple of months, we have seen Samsung and Huawei launching their own foldable smartphone. While the company is yet to make any official announcement, the leaks revealed the new Razr logo along with the key specifications of the device.

The Razr foldable smartphone will be coming with dual display. The 6.2-inch primary display which can be folded comes with 876 x 2142 pixels resolution. The outer (or secondary) display will be coming with 600 x 800 pixels resolution. As of now, the screen size of the secondary display is unknown.  The earlier reports also suggest only limited apps can take advantage of this secondary display.

While all the recently announced foldable smartphones came with the flagship 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform, Motorola seems to make its Razr foldable smartphone affordable by using the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. It is said to come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively. It will be backed by a 2,730mAh battery and also supports 27W turbocharging.

It is mentioned to come in White, Black, and Gold color options. We should be seeing more leaks about the Razr foldable smartphone in the coming weeks. As of now, there is no information regarding the launch date of this device. It will be on Android OS and might come with the stock UI as seen on other Moto devices. Google also added official support the foldable display in the Android OS. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
