Infinix Zero 5 Smartphone with 16MP Selfie Camera Launched at Rs 17,999 onwards

Today, at a launch event in Dubai, Infinix has launched their latest flagship i.e. the Zero 5 Smartphone at a price of Rs 17,999 onwards. This phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart initially while the phone has been launched in Dubai at a price of AED 999 for the 64GB+6GB model and AED 1199 for the 128GB+6GB model. Infinix is doing a global launch of this model & will be making the phone available in multiple countries. The Zero 5 will be available in India at 12 noon from 22nd November 2017 and there will be an exclusive bundle offer where the customers can buy their Quiet 2 headphones at Rs 1,499 & Quiet X at Rs 4,999.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The in-box contents also include earphones, TPU case, screen protecti0n film, and a wipe cloth. The Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro are priced at Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 19,999 respectively. The Infinix Zero 5 will be available in Sandstone Black, Champagne Gold, and Bordeaux Red color options. On the other hand, the Zero 5 Pro comes in Bronze Gold Black color.

Earlier: Transsion Holdings-owned Infinix will be unveiling its latest flagship smartphone under the Zero series on November 14th in Dubai. The company has already started teasing about the Infinix Zero 5, the successor to the Zero 4 launched earlier this year. In India, the Infinx Zero 5 will be exclusively sold through Flipkart. On the rear, we will be looking a dual camera setup.

It comes with a metal unibody design While there is no official confirmation, the leaks have already revealed the full specifications of the device. It might come with a 5.98-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz. It comes coupled with Mali-T880 MP2 GPU and 6GB of RAM. There will also be 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be further expandable using a MicroSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the dual camera setup on the rear will be featuring a 12MP wide-angle sensor and a 13MP telephoto sensor. As seen on the Huawei P-series devices, there is a black strip on the top rear of the device that holds the dual cameras along with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, the Zero 5 comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with LED Flash. It runs on Android Nougat out of the box with the customized XOS skin laid on top.

The Zero 5 also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. It might come packed with a 4,350mAh non-removable battery that also supports fast charging technology. With all these high-end specifications, the Infinix Zero 5 is said to cost less than Rs. 20,000 in India.
