Honor 7X Launched with 5.93″ FullView Display & 16MP Dual Rear Cameras

As announced earlier, Honor launched its second smartphone with FullView display called Honor 7X today in China. Earlier this month, the company unveiled the Honor 9i in India with a 5.9-inch FullView display offering 18:9 aspect ratio. The new Honor 7X is the successor to the last year’s popular mid-range smartphone, Honor 6X. Just like its predecessor, the Honor 7X also offers dual camera setup on the rear. The smartphone comes with a unibody metal design and sports a 2.5D curved glass on the front.

It sports a 5.93-inch  display on the front with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Honor 7X is powered by the Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.36GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It includes 4GB of RAM and comes in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage options. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage up to 256GB. With the in-house Histen sound algorithm, the device also offers 3D surround sound.

On the rear of the device is the dual camera setup featuring 16MP & 2MP sensors. The secondary sensor on this device is used for calculating the depth in the image for offering better Bokeh effect. For selfies, there is only an 8MP single front-facing sensor with gestures support. It is equipped with a 3,340mAh non-removable battery that is rated to give up to 21 hours of talk time and lasts up to 22 days on standby. The smartphone also support Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charging technology using the 9V/2A (18W) power adapter.

It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with the EMUI 5.1 laid on top. The Honor 7X also supports dual SIM dual standby using the hybrid SIM card slot. The fingerprint sensor can be spotted on the rear of the device. The smartphone comes in Midnight Black, Platinum Gold, and Aurora Blue color options. Coming to the pricing, the device is priced at 1299 Yuan, 1699 Yuan, and 1999 Yuan for the 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants.

It is now available to pre-order and the sales will begin from October 17th. The Honor 7X will soon go on sale in the U.S, India, and Europe.

    Where i can find full specs!!
    As I’m thinking to skip the 9i and wait for it.
    9i has only pros as 13mp dual camera in front with led flash otherwise 7x is more reach in specs.
    And also I’m assuming that 7x will be priced lower than 9i.
