The latest news is that, Jio is likely to soft launch Jio SIM cards into the market. This news now got widespread after we heard about the launch of Reliance 4G pushed back to December. In fact, the company has launched its services for the Reliance group employees in December 2015.
The employees got 75 GB data and 4500 minutes calls in that launch and now everyone are looking forward for the present soft launch for the public. The Jio SIM card is said to have 200 Rs/- price and is expected to come with free internet data and voice calls. We need to wait further to know about the other details.
As per the sources, it is revealed that, few Reliance Digital Stores already received the Jio SIM cards and they are waiting for the official announcement of the release. Already, the staff received training to engage the customers about SIM cards and to manage documentations etc. But, it is not yet revealed that whether the SIM cards work only for Lyf handsets or available for all other handsets too. The decision is likely to pending and all are waiting for the SIM cards.
With the soft launch of Jio SIM Cards, it has been proved that the company is trying to be in the news until the complete launch of Reliance Jio 4G services. We already saw the news about Reliance Jio offering free 35GB data on every purchase of Lyf phone. This could be a smooth wave for the company and we should look for all the plans and details about the SIM card. With the 4G services Reliance Jio could hit the markets of other competitors like Bharti Airtel, Idea cellular and Vodafone India.
