The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is all set to unveil its new series in China tomorrow. This new series from Xiaomi is said to be coming after the recent partnership between Xiaomi and Meitu. It is likely to be believed that the new series from Xiaomi will be unveiled tomorrow. According to earlier reports, the Chinese maker is said to be launching two Mi CC9 and the Mi CC9e smartphones in their home country on June 21.
Xiaomi has also recently teased its Meitu partnered smartphone which had showcased triple flip cameras similar to what we have seen in the newly launched Asus 6z smartphone. While the latter featured dual flip cameras, the teased Meitu Xiaomi phone features triple cameras instead, which are expected to be having a primary sensor, telephoto sensor, and an ultra-wide sensor as well.
These flip cameras on the rear will also act as selfie shooter, and these will also help achieve the notch-less, dewdrop/teardrop-less full screen on the front. There appears to be no fingerprint sensor on the teaser image, meaning we could expect an optical or an in-display fingerprint sensor under the display for authentication.
A new report suggests the company’s announcement was featured on Weibo by Xiaomi’s founder, Lei Jun suggesting the launch of this new series is imminent on June 21 by 10 am at their local time. Though the company has teased its new series launch, it is still unclear what the precise names of the series would be called.
And further, the head of Meitu has joined the teaser post shared by Lei Jun wherein he had replied regarding the boy who had been highlighted in the teaser image, which indeed suggests us that this new series is certainly going to be the product made in collaboration with Xiaomi and Meitu. With the expected Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones, under the hood specifications aren’t clear yet. Stay connected to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
