Samsung Gear Fit is a Smart watch which acts a soul to your smartphone and syncs to it via Bluetooth to help do most of the things that your phone does. The Gear Fit can access a lot of Data on your Smartphone if you are using your device with only one Smartphone. It is fine, but if you are going to sync your Gear fit with a newly purchased smartphone or another device then, you need to make sure that you Reset your Gear fit, which removes all the data from the memory. And reset your Gear fit to the default values and application which were present as default.
How to Reset Samsung Gear Fit
To Reset your Gear Fit to factory settings you need to first scroll Left or Right on the Home Screen, then find and tap on the Gear or Settings Icon.
On Scrolling to Left or Right you can find that Reset Gear Fit Option directly
Tap on it, and you will see a warning that everything will be lost, and you will then be able to connect the Gear Fit with another smartphone.
Then the process of resetting your Gear Fit starts automatically by deleting all the saved Data and resetting the apps and device to default factory settings.
The Gear Fit device will automatically Restart after the Factory reset.
Before you go for Resetting your device make sure that there are no important files or pictures or videos stored on your device memory as all this will be irreversibly deleted. If you have any such data make sure, you transfer it first to your Smartphone or PC and then go ahead with the Reset. Although, this isn’t much of a risk for the Gear Fit because it doesn’t have anything to store, and there is no camera, thus no pictures to be saved.
