Nokia 5.1 Plus (Nokia X5) Spotted in Promotional Images, to Launch on July 11

Back in May 2018, HMD Global for the time launched a smartphone with notch display called Nokia X6. While the Nokia X6 is limited to the Chinese market, the leaks suggest the company to launch the same device as Nokia 6.1 Plus in other markets. While there is no confirmation, the Nokia 6.1 Plus will be launching on July 19th in Hong Kong. The company is also rumored to launch another smartphone with notch display called as Nokia X5.
While the Nokia X5 is expected to be unveiled on July 11th in China, it will be making its international debut as Nokia 5.1 Plus later this year. The Nokia smartphone with the model number TA-1109 listed on TENAA is expected to be the Nokia X5. Now, the similar looking device is spotted in promotional images. While the Nokia X6 came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, the upcoming Nokia X5 will use the MediaTek Helio processor octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz.
It will be available in different RAM and storage options. From the TENAA listing, the device comes with a 5.86-inch display offering HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and we expect the company to also release the Android P update once it is available. Unlike the Chinese variant, the international variant will be coming with stock Android UI without any bloatware apps.
Talking about the cameras, the Nokia X5 sports 13MP dual rear cameras and an 8MP single front camera. The device will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery and measures 8.09 mm thickness. On the rear, there is also a circular fingerprint sensor. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
