LYF C451 4G VoLTE Smartphone with SD210 SoC & 1GB RAM Launched for Rs. 4,999

Reliance Jio has announced its first Jio branded mobile phone called JioPhone. However, the company is still continuing to launch the 4G VoLTE smartphones under the LYF brand. Last month, the company introduced the all-new Connect series by launching the LYF C459 smartphone. Now in August, the company came up with the second device called as LYF C451. It is priced at Rs. 4,999 and comes only in White color. The LYF C451 will be sold via Reliance digital and Jio stores across the country. Just like the Flame series smartphones, the new LYF C451 also offers basic specifications at very cheap price.
As announced with the LYF branded smartphones, the Jio 4G users with LYF C451 are also eligible to get 20% more data. It comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection on the top.
Unde the hood is the 32-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core clocked at 1.3GHz. It comes coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and packs 1GB of RAM. There is just 8GB of internal storage, but the user can further expand using the MicroSD card slot. There is a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera on the front.
The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity only with the single SIM. It is backed by a 2,800mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 12.5 hours of talk time and lasts up to 240 hours on standby. The device measures 139 x 66.5 x 9.8 mm and weighs 165 grams. It has a physical home button with two capacitive buttons on either side of it. The LYF C451 still runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, USB OTG, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.
The earlier launched LYF C459 is priced slightly lower at Rs. 4,699. Apart from the smaller battery, rest of the specifications of the C459 are same as on the C451.
