A couple of days back, Panasonic launched the Eluga A4 smartphone as a successor to Eluga A3. Today, a new Eluga smartphone is listed on Flipkart ahead of its official launch. As announced earlier, Panasonic is on a spree to launch 15 smartphones under Rs. 15,000 by the end of this year. The new Eluga I5 is priced at Rs. 6,499 and packs decent specifications. It is currently listed as Coming Soon and there is no information about the availability of the device.
According to the listing, the Eluga I5 sports a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass laid on top. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 128GB using a MicroSD card slot. With the use of hybrid SIM slot, the Eluga I5 also supports dual SIM dual standby.
It comes with a metal body and will be available in Black and Gold color options. Talking about the cameras, the device comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and an LED flash.
