Vivo V7 with FullView Display & 24MP Selfie Camera Launched in India for Rs. 18,990

A couple of months back, Vivo launched the Vivo V7 Plus smartphone in India. It is the first smartphone from the company to feature an 18:9 Full View display. Though there is no information about the Vivo V7 smartphone, the company started promoting both the Vivo V7 and V7 Plus from September this year. Now in November, Vivo officially launched Vivo V7 as the younger sibling to the V7 Plus.

While there is no official information about the device, the leaks have already revealed full details. The Vivo V7 will be available in Gold and Black color options. Talking about the specifications, the smartphone will be featuring a 5.7-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the Vivo V7 also comes powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor as seen on the V7 Plus.

It will be offering 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be further expandable via a MicroSD card. Compared to the V7 Plus, the V7 comes in a smaller form factor and is also backed by a slightly smaller 3,000mAh battery. FYI, the Vivo V7 Plus came with 5.99-inch display came with a 3,225mAh battery. It also supports dual SIM dual standby and might come with a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The smartphone will be running on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with FunTouchOS laid on top. It will be offering 4G VoLTE along with basic connectivity options. As seen on V7 Plus, the V7 will also feature a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Coming to the camera department, the Vivo V7 will be coming with a 24MP front camera and 16MP rear camera. The suggested retail price of the smartphone is rumored to be PHP 14,990 (approx $295 / Rs. 19,000).

Since there is no official confirmation, take these details with a pinch of salt. Last week, Vivo also launched the new Energetic Blue variant of the V7 Plus in India for Rs. 21,990. It is exclusively available online through Amazon India and will go on sale starting November 15th. Vivo is also offering one-time screen replacement with a validity of 12 months for free with the new color variant.

Vivo V7 with FullView Display & 24MP Selfie Camera Goes Official in Indonesia

Vivo has sent out the media invites for the launch of Vivo V7 in India on November 20th. However, the company today unveiled the Vivo V7 smartphone in Indonesia. The device will be coming with the same FullView display as seen on the Vivo V7 Plus. The company is also offering the same 24MP selfie camera as seen on its elder sibling. As leaks suggested, the Vivo V7 comes sports a 5.7-inch FullView IPS display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution.

Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It includes 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot. The device also supports dual SIM dual standby and comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot. In terms of camera, both the Vivo V7 Plus and V7 shares the same sensors. There is a 16MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, there is also a 24MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and soft LED flash.

It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based Funtouch 3.2 OS out of the box. The Vivo V7 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and lacks fast charging support. The smartphone measures 149.3 x 72.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 139 grams. It will be available in Gold and Matte Black color options. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, FM Radio, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the device. It is priced at IDR 3,799,000 (approx $280 / Rs. 18,300) and is currently available for pre-booking.

As announced earlier, Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V7 smartphone today in India. The device is priced at Rs. 18,990 and is sold exclusively through Flipkart in India. The specifications of the device remain same as on the variant launched in Indonesia. Compared to the 5.99-inch HD+ FullView display of the Vivo V7 Plus, the new Vivo V7 sports a slightly smaller 5.7-inch FullView display with the same resolution. Rest of the specifications remain same on both the smartphones. It will be available in Champagne Gold and Matte Black color options.

The Vivo V7 is currently available for pre-orders and the sales will begin from November 24th. Vivo is also bundling one-time screen replacement offer for free with every purchase. The users also can also avail “No Cost EMI” from Flipkart. Additio0nally, the company is also offering Rs. 500 worth Book My Show gift voucher. Vivo also offered the same benefits for the recently launched the Vivo V7 Plus Energetic Blue variant.
