Apps for Wearables
Google Play has "Apps for Android Wear" section with dedicated Apps listed

It’s just a few days ago when the Android Wear OS was launched, and there is some activity already being seen around it. With the Google Play Store listing a few apps under a special category “Apps for Android Wear” where you can browse. And check for the apps which are available for the Android Wear devices, i.e. the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live for now.
The Apps for Android Wear that are listed for now, and are bound to increase by time, are as follows.
- Android Wear – the app that links the Android wearables.
- IFTTT – that gets everything done by connecting apps
- Contacts + – Contacts and dialer app with Text messaging, making call and message syncing easier
- Bandsintown Concerts – Concert listing and discovery app for Android
- Banjo – All access pass to live events and breaking news around the world
- Duolingo – Language teaching app with multiple language support
- Onefootball Brasil – World Cup – A perfect app at the right time, to get the alerts and news about the ongoing FIFA 2014 world cup
- Highlight – Interact and meet people nearby you
- Glympse – Safely share your location with someone in real time, and let others follow your location on a map
- Talkray – An app that lets you do free calling and messaging with push-to-talk voice messages
- Player FM – Podcast and Sync – A podcast discovery app helping the user find, sync and listen to podcasts offline
- The Guardian – A news app
- Thomson Reuters Eikon – A set of financial tools available
- Allthecooks Recipes – An app sharing recipes, and you can find or submit recipes right from the Android Wear watch
- Pinterest – Pin and share interesting stuff
- American Airlines – All the details about your flight, right on your watch
- Fly Delta – Delta Airlines flight details
- 1Weather – Widget app
- Maps – Google Maps app
- Hangouts – Chat application from Google, previously called Google Talk
All of these apps were available for Android devices earlier too, but the thing to notice now is that these apps are available for the Android Wear devices.
