We have been seeing several leaks about the Pixel 3 Lite smartphones. The recent Android Q Beta 1 update confirmed these affordable Pixel smartphones to be launched as Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. While both the Pixel 3a smartphones are expected to launch in Clearly White and Just Black colors, the latest leak confirms new color option called Iris which will look more like Purple. We expect the Iris Purple color to look more attractive than the dull looking Not Pink color.

As of now, there is no official confirmation over the Pixel 3a smartphones launch from Google. We are guessing the company will unveil these new devices in the month of April. If not, the 2019 Google I/O which is scheduled to be held from 7th to 9th of May is another option. Just like the flagship Pixel 3 devices, the affordable Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will also include Active Edge squeeze feature

As seen on the Pixel 3, the upcoming Pixel 3a smartphones will also feature enterprise-grade Titan M security chip. The devices will also support dual SIM through eSIM. While the Pixel 3a is backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform, the bigger Pixel 3a XL will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. Both the devices will be coming with 4GB of RAM and sports 18:9 displays.

The Pixel 3a will be coming with a 5.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+  (2220 × 1080 pixels) resolution. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device will be equipped with a single 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. Both the devices will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and should be getting the Android Q update along with other Pixel devices. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
