Nubia will be launching its new Red Magic 3 smartphone as the successor to Red Magic Mars. The company has already confirmed new features and key specifications of the device. While the launch date is yet to be announced, it is expected to be unveiled next month in China. Now, the device is spotted on Chinese 3C certification website with the model number NX629J. The listing also confirms the device to support 3oW fast charging technology.
The Red Magic 3 is already confirmed to sport a 5,000mAh battery. Now, the 30W fast charging should be good enough to charge the device to last for long duration gaming sessions. The Red Magic 3 will be competing with the Xiaomi’s latest Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone. Both the devices will be powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. The Black Shark 2 will be coming with only 4,000mAh battery and supports 27W fast charging.
Both these devices will also offer up to 12GB of RAM. As seen on the Red Magic 2, the upcoming Red Magic 3 might also come with the large RGB LED strip on the rear along with virtual shoulder buttons and enhanced haptic feedback for an immersive gaming experience. While the Chinese variant comes with the custom OS, the global variant of the Red Magic smartphones offer stock experience with custom built gaming mode. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
