Oppo has recently launched a new smartphone i.e., the Oppo F1 priced at Rs 15990. It has a 5.0-inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and 1280 x 720 pixels as its resolution. It is a Dual SIM smartphone supporting dual standby and comes with a Hybrid SIM card slot. The chipset on the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The performance of the device is fast as it comes with 3GB of RAM and 16 GB of its internal storage. Though the device comes with very low internal storage it can be expanded upto 128 GB using an external Micro SD card slot. The battery capacity of the device is 2500 mAh and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. The device is available in two variants of colors, i.e., Gold and Silver. As the device comes with a tagline Selfie Expert, the front camera on the device is 8 MP and the rear camera on the device is 13 MP with an LED flash. Oppo F1 comes with a non-removable back panel hence the SIM card tray is available on the right edge of the device, just above the power button. To insert the SIM card on your device, remove the SIM card tray by push the SIM ejector tool near the port. Now place the SIM card on the respective port as per the marked direction and push the tray back inside the port. You have successfully inserted the SIM card on your device and will be ready for use once it is setup.
It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports Dual Standby. The SIM card supported by the device is Nano SIM card with 4G connectivity. The SIM 2 slot is a Hybrid slot where you can either insert the Memory card to expand the storage on your device, or you can add a Nano SIM card.
Every device these days come with an interesting feature where you can share the data network on your device by created a hotspot. To share a data network on your Oppo F1 smartphone, open the settings and tap on more in Wireless & Networks. In the new window, tap on the personal hotspot in the tethering section and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. The screenshot is used to captured the data on your device and store it in the from an image which may be in jpeg format of png format. There are two ways in which you can capture a screenshot on your device.
Method 1: This is the general method of capturing a screenshot where you need to press the power button along with the volume down button at the same time to capture the screenshot on your device.
Method 2: This is smart gesture method of capturing the screenshot on your device and must be enabled from your settings to capture screenshot on your device. The screenshot can be captured by swiping three fingers from top to bottom.
In both the methods, the captured screenshot is saved to the gallery on your device and can be quickly accessed from the notification where you can share and edit the image.
Android Updates are helpful in fixing the flaws on your device and helps in better performance on your device. To check for Updates on your device, you need to open the settings and tap on System Updates option which is at the bottom of the screen. The device checks for updates, and if there is no new Update, a message stating The current version is the latest version is displayed on the screen.
External apps can be installed by enabling the Unknown Sources option on your device. To install an app with an external apk, open the Settings and tap on Safety & Privacy in the Account and Security section. The Quick Setting in the Notification Panel cannot be customized on this smartphone.
Power Saving Mode is helpful in improving the battery life on your device during the low battery conditions. The device comes with two types of power saving mode, Smart Power Saving Mode, and Ultra-long Standby Mode. To use these on your device, open the Settings and tap on Battery and Storage. The device comes with an addition theme store where you can download a number of themes for your device.
