List of Devices to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update
The Final Developer preview of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is out, and the public release is expected to happen at the September 29th event. Apart from the Nexus smartphones, who get an assured update for next Android OS for a minimum of next 18 months from launching the device. Here is the list of devices that are about to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Apart from Nexus devices, Sony Xperia smartphones are first to experience the Android M Preview. The company has confirmed the below mentioned to receive the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. While there is no time frame mentioned for the release of the update.

Samsung Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for any of their smartphones. The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ are expected to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow ou-of-the-box, but with the early launch of the devices, they are left with no other option except Android 5.1 Lollipop. Motorola Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
Motorola as a former Google’s mobile division used to update the device to the latest version of Android quicker than any other manufacturer with almost no bloatware content. The Nexus 6 which was launched in partnership with Google has already received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. As of now, the below-mentioned devices are confirmed by the manufacturer to receive the update before the end of this year.

Apart from the Nexus 5, LG is expected to update only the latest flagship smartphone LG G4 and 2014 launched LG G3. We can’t expect the company to launch more devices, but few more devices can be added to the below list of devices to receive Android 6.0 marshmallow update.
Huawei Honor Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
Huawei has been slow in rolling out the latest Android updates. The company had officially listed the few device under their Honor brand to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in February 2016.
OnePlus Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
Apart parting away from Cyanogen, OnePlus came up with its own OS called Hydrogen OS for China and Oxygen OS for the rest of the world. Since the device portfolio of OnePlus includes just three devices, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow can be released for all the devices within the next couple of months.
HTC Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 hMarshmallow Upgrade
HTC has officially confirmed that the HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 Plus will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. It also rumored that the HTC One M8 will also receive this latest update. 2014 launched Nexus Tablet has already got the final preview, and the public release will be released by this month end. The device will receive the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow through HTC Sense 7 UI update. Apart from the Desire series smartphones we expect the guaranteed Marshmallow update for high-end One series devices.

Asus Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
The earlier launched Zenfone 2 series of smartphones are likely to be updated to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But with a lot of customization in Zen UI, The Zenfone users may miss the vanilla flavor of the Android Marshmallow. There is no time frame mentioned by the company for releasing the latest update.
InFocus Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
InFocus is the latest entrant into the list of manufacturers to upgrade their devices to Android 6.0Marshmallow. The company had sent out the press release saying the mid-range Infocus M812 and the entry-level Infocus M370 will receive the Marshmallow update before the end of this year. Currently, both these devices run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Lenovo Smartphones to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow Upgrade
We had earlier reported that Lenovo is working on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for their devices. Now the list of devices that will receive the Marshmallow update have been leaked through the support pages. Based on the leaks, the Lenovo A7000, A7000 Plus and K3 Note will receive the update by the end of this year and the recently launched Vibe P1 along with the upcoming Vibe S1 will be updated in June 2016.
