Oppo has released many devices in India since its entry, and this Chinese electronics manufacturer is also known for making other electronics devices like Blu-ray, and it was founded in the year 2004. Oppo Find 7 was the first handset that was released in early 2014 and later came out with the devices like Oppo N1 and N3 also. This time, the company has come up with another device called as Oppo A53 that comes with 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. This 5.5-inch device has a 720 x 1080 pixels resolution giving a pixel density of 267 ppi.

How to insert the SIM card on your A53?
To insert SIM on the device, the user has to remove the plastic back cover carefully where the SIM slots can be seen below the rear camera along with a microSD card slot. Now place the SIM’s accordingly as instructed. Now, put back the cover and reboot the device to start using the SIM for making calls and messages.
What is the type of SIM supported on this device?
Oppo A53 is a dual-SIM variant that comes with dual standby. The device supports one Nano SIM and one Micro SIM, letting its user use any of them accordingly in the slot provided on the back.
How to share your Data network via hotspot on the device?
One can share his data with anyone via Tethering or Hotspot option that is available on the device. To turn-on this feature, the user needs to go to the general settings of the device. Now tap on the more option and select the option Personal Hotspot to get all its accesses. Here you can set up the SSID and keep the encryption to WPA-PSK and WPA-PSK or even keep it open. An eight digit password should be generated, and a maximum of eight devices can be connected to it. You can also refuse others connection request by going to Connect Users option. There is also an option of sharing the data through USB tethering and Bluetooth tethering.

To take a screenshot on A53, you need to press the power button along with the volume down button until you hear a sound or feel the vibration. This screenshot can be accessed quickly by spying from the top of the screen and later can be viewed from the gallery app, and that can also be shared easily.

The company has not given any word on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update on the Oppo A53, and the devices run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. We are looking forward to seeing Marshmallow update on this device which will take some time.
What is Eye protection display?
Eye protection display is a feature that you can find on most of the devices from Oppo. This feature filters out the blue light from the display and creates soothing screen while you view the screen for a long time. After turning on the Eye protection display, you have the option of low medium and high, that has to be selected accordingly. This ensures that the user’s eyes are protected and safe.

In the new window, you will find the options, double tap to wake up, Draw O to start Camera, Music Control, Draw a V to turn on the flashlight and you also add additional gestures by a tap on Add a screen-off gesture. You need to toggle the button adjacent to each to the options, to enable them on your device.

The device comes with pre-installed with lock now, Flies, O-cloud, security center, remote control and all the Google related apps.
How to install an external apk on the device?
An external apk can be installed by enabling the unknown source option on your device. To enable this on your device, open the Settings, click on safety & privacy. Now tap on Unknown sources and click on the OK button to activate it. You can install unlimited apps without any interruption. DO make sure that certain apk files may damage your device and it is adviced to download applications from the play store.
