Android 6.0 “Marshmallow” is the latest version of the Android developed by Google and was officially launched in August. The developer preview of the Android Marshmallow was first launched for Nexus devices, and now all the brands have started focusing on bringing the latest Android M update to their smartphones.
It comes with many new exciting features like, App Permissions – a new permissions architecture that will have a set of eight permissions allowing apps to ask permission for only particular feature instead of everything. Doze is the power management feature that reduces background apps when the smartphone is kept idle or is not being used saving the battery and increasing standby hours. The other features include NFC-based Android Pay- Mobile Payments, App links, inbuilt file explorer, web experience, support for fingerprint readers and USB Typ-C connectors.

The Huawei-made Nexus 6P is the best Nexus device launched by Google to date. The smartphone comes with the solid metal build, sturdy specifications and is the first device to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 12.3MP rear camera, 8MP selfie shooter and 3450mAh battery. The main highlight is the new fingerprint sensor, “Nexus Imprint,” that can unlock the device with a single touch and it also features a USB Type-C port. LG Nexus 5X
Along with the Nexus 6P, Google also launched the LG-made Nexus 5X and was available for sale online exclusively via Amazon priced at Rs. 31,990. The LG Nexus 5X comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed and also features all the specification that are required in a flagship smartphone. The Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage and a 12.3-megapixel camera on the back.
HTC One A9
The HTC One A9 is the brand’s first all-metal smartphone and sports the design that highly resembles the Apple’s iPhone 6s. The One A9 is the first non-Nexus device to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It also sports a fingerprint sensor directly embedded in the physical home button on the front side. The device features a 5-inch Full-HD display, latest Snapdragon 617 octa-core SoC, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 4MP Ultra-Pixel front shooter and 2150mAh battery.
