With such a high pricing, the users would be definitely confused in choosing between OnePlus X and OnePlus 2. The OnePlus 2 is priced Rs. 25,000 and offers unmatched specifications when compared to OnePlus X. Since the company hasn’t confirmed pricing, take this with a pinch of salt.

Earlier: Oct 15, 2015 – After several rumors and leaks about the upcoming budget smartphone from OnePlus, the name of the device is to be confirmed as OnePlus X. As earlier leaked, the device is to called as either OnePlus X  or OnePlus Mini, but now we came to know that these both are totally different devices. The OnePlus X comes with the model number E1001 and is expected to be priced around $250. Today, the famous Chinese leakster, Leaksfly has posted on his official Weibo account suggesting the price of OnePlus X should be around 1,399 Yuan (approx $220/ Rs.14,300). If this comes true, OnePlus X will be the best device that can compete against the likes of recently launched Xiaomi Mi4c.

The device comes powered by Snapdragon 801 instead of the Helio X10 processor. This is the same chipset that was earlier used in the OnePlus One. Recently the Lenovo backed ZUK also debuted with Snapdragon 801 powered ZUK Z1 smartphone. The TENAA listing suggests the device to sport 3GB of RAM but as per our trusted source, the device will be launched with only 2GB of RAM.

It also has a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The NFC, which is missing on the OnePlus 2, is expected to be added to this device.

The Alert Slider that was first seen on the OnePlus 2 is passed on to this device. With the lower pricing, the OnePlus might be left out with no other option than opting for the Plastic body.
