Vivo V15 Smartphone Gets Rs 2,000 Discount in India

Vivo launched the mid-range Vivo V15 Pro with a completely bezel-less display and pop-up selfie camera for Rs 28,990. Later, the company also introduced the Vivo V15 in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs 23,990 and offered trimmed down specifications. Today, the company has announced a price cut of Rs 2,000 on the Vivo V15. The Vivo V15 can be purchased for Rs 21,990 via Flipkart and Vivo’s online store. It runs on the Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with FunTouch OS 9 skin laid on top.

The device comes with a polycarbonate body and the curved edges offer a nice grip. Both the Vivo V15 Pro and V15 comes with the same 6.39-inch FullView AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display on this device offers 90.95% screen-to-body ratio and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the Vivo V15 comes powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.

It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. Talking about the cameras, the Vivo V15 comes with a triple camera setup featuring a 12MP primary sensor camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP super wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The pop-up selfie camera on the top comes with a 32MP resolution sensor. It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and supports fast charging.

The Vivo V15 measures 161.97 × 75.93 × 8.54 mm and weighs 189.5 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi. Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device comes in Frozen Black and Glamour Red color options. The Vivo V15 is the most affordable smartphone in India to offer true bezel-less display. Vivo recently started rolling out the FunTouch OS 9 update for the Vivo V11 Pro devices in India.
