Last month, Vivo launched the Vivo V15 Pro smartphone in the Indian market for Rs 28,990. The company is already promoting the Vivo V15 along with the Vivo V15 Pro. Today, the Vivo V15 was officially launched in India for Rs 23,990. In terms of design, both the Vivo V15 and V15 Pro smartphones look similar. While the Vivo V15 Pro sports in-display fingerprint scanner, the Vivo V15 comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
In terms of specification, we can see many similarities between these two devices. The Vivo V15 sports the same 6.39-inch Ultra FullView AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. While the Vivo V5 Pro is powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, the cheaper Vivo V15 settles with the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. Even the Realme 3 priced at Rs 8,999 comes with the same Helio P70 processor.
The Vivo V15 offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. With the MicroSD card slot, the users can further expand the storage up to 256GB. On the rear, the Vivo V15 comes with triple camera setup featuring a 12MP primary sensor camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP super wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Unlike the Vivo V15 Pro, the primary camera on the Vivo V15 can capture images only up to 24MP resolution. For selfies, there is a 32MP pop-up camera with f/2.0 aperture on the top. It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports fast charging. The device measures 161.97 × 75.93 × 8.54 mm and weighs 189.5 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi.
