Upcoming Vivo Y17 to feature Triple Rear Cameras and Fast Charging: Report

Last month, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo launched its Vivo V15 and the Vivo V15 Pro smartphones in the country. The Vivo V15 was a premium mid-range smartphone from Vivo that featured a triple rear camera and a 32MP pop-up selfie camera as well. The smartphone maker is working on launching yet another smartphone under its Vivo Y series.
According to 91Mobiles and according to their retail chain sources information, Vivo is launching its new Vivo Y17 smartphone under sub-Rs 20,000 price bracket. The Vivo Y17 is also said to be the first phone in this segment that is supposedly featuring a triple rear camera set up. The report had also revealed the Vivo Y17’s promotional image as well, which reveals Y17 design and it certainly appears to have a gradient finish on the back along with the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and triple cameras setup aligned vertically with alongside an LED flash. On the front, the teaser image indicates a prominent chin at the bottom along with water drop notch that beholds the front-facing camera. Moreover, the image also suggests of what appears to be the primary USP of the device, meaning the triple rear cameras and also fast charging support as well.
The report had further revealed the specifications of the device along with the pricing as well. The Vivo Y17 will be coming with a 6.35-inch display and will be powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, followed by 4GB of RAM. The Y17 is further said to be shipping with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box, and the device is also expected to be powered by an enormous 5,000mAh battery as well.
