HTC One A9 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Officially Launched in India at Rs. 29,990



HTC has announced its high-end smartphone HTC One A9 on 20th October. Today the company had officially launched the device in India along with the mid-range Desire 828 smartphone. As mentioned earlier the design of the device almost resembles with the latest iPhone 6s. This also the first smartphone apart from Nexus devices to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

It comes with a 5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage and also includes a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to a 2TB.

The device sports 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization, Sapphire protected lens and aperture of f/2.0. On the front, it has a 4MP ultra pixel camera with f/2.0 aperture that can also record video in 1080p resolution. The physical home button placed below the display also includes the fingerprint for better security.

While it runs on latest Android Marshmallow, it comes with HTC Sense 7 UI on top of it. The 2,150mAh non-removable battery also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 for faster charging. According to the company, it can give up to 16 hours of talk time and lasts up to 18 days on standby.

It comes build into an unibody metallic body and will be available in the colors – Opal Silver, Carbon Grey, Deep Garnet and Topaz Gold. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device is priced at Rs. 29,990 and can be purchased exclusively through Snapdeal.
