Ringing Bells, the Noida-based company has officially launched the Freedom 251 smartphone today in India at a price of just Rs. 251 (approx USD 3.7 / EUR 3.2). At such a low price it comes with highly impressive internals including 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Apart from the cheapest smartphone in the world, the company also the launched another smartphone called as Smart 101 4G. At a price of just Rs. 2,999 (approx USD 43 / EUR 39); this is the world’s cheapest 4G LTE smartphone ever launched.
While many other devices at this price range come with most basic specifications, Ringing Bell packed the Smart 101 4G with more than possible specifications. The device sports a 5-inch qHD (960 x 480 pixels) IPS display and runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz unknown quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage upto 32GB.

Talking about the camera, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It measures 142 x 71.4 x 8 mm and weighs 125 grams. The device comes in both Black and White color options.
