POCO F1 to Re-Launch as Mi Play in China on December 24th

Xiaomi has unveiled its new sub-brand with the launch of Poco F1 smartphone in India. The F1 has surprised everyone with its flagship specifications like – a Snapdragon 845 processor backed by 6/8GB of RAM, all this under a price tag of Rs 20,000.

While the phone was initially launched for the Indian markets with Poco branding; there seems to be a global launch of this high-end smartphone as well. Earlier, there were reports that this would launch with a new name in China, sticking to Xiaomi branding and called as Mi Play. Well, there’s a new development regarding this re-launch of the Pocophone F1.

A new teaser image suggests that the Poco F1 smartphone would certainly re-launch as Mi Play on 24th of this month. As for the teaser image, it certainly hints a variety of color options that include gradient colors as well. However, the company had released multiple color options with the Poco F1 that comprised of Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and Rosso Red amongst other colors in India.

As for the specifications, the Poco F1 was powered by 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor, and it also featured LiquidCool Technology to handle thermal performance. As for the cameras it featured AI dual cameras (12MP+5MP) on the rear and a 20MP front-facing camera as well. The Poco F1 also featured quick charge 3.0 to power its 4,000mAh battery.
