Last year’s POCO F1 is the cheapest Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone in the market. It is one of the best options for playing graphics intensive games. The device also comes equipped with liquid cooling technology for better heat dispersion. Just like Gaming Mode on OnePlus smartphones, the newly added Game Turbo mode will further enhance the gaming experience on the POCO F1. The company first introduced the Game Turbo feature with Mi 9 launch.

While it is only limited for the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM, we expect it to be added in the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM very soon. Talking about the Game Turbo mode, the device now allocates more CPU and GPU resources for the specific app. The users can toggle on/off the Game Turbo mode from the MIUI Security app. The device also shows Game Turbo pop-up while opening the gaming apps. It also has options to open WhatsApp, Facebook, and Browser apps in PIP mode while playing games.

The users can also start screen recording or take screenshots directly from the Game Turbo pop-up menu. The recent beta update has enabled the Widevine L1 support for streaming HD content on VOD apps like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. While the base variant of the POCO F1 with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage is now available for just Rs 19,999, the 128GB storage variant is currently on sale for just Rs 20,999.

However, the Rs 2,00o price cut on the 128GB storage variant is only for limited time. Recently, the POCO F2 powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform was spotted on Geekbench. While there is no official confirmation, we expect the company to launch it only in the second half of this year. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
