OPPO K3 with 6.3″ AMOLED Display & 16MP Pop-up Selfie Camera Leaked

Earlier this year, OPPO introduced the all-new K-series by launching the OPPO K1 smartphone. At Rs 16,990, the OPPO K1 is the most affordable smartphone to offer an in-display fingerprint scanner in India. Now, the new leaks suggest the company to soon launch a new OPPO K-series smartphone. Instead of launching the OPPO K2, the company might actually come out with the OPPO K3. As of now, there is no specific reason known for skipping the OPPO K2.
Talking about the details, the OPPO K3 will offer OPPO F11 Pro-like design at even affordable price. It is said to sport a 6.3-inch display with no notch or bezels. Just like its successor, the OPPO K3 will also use an AMOLED panel and offers Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. The device will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to the cameras, the OPPO K3 might sport 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear. For selfies, it will reportedly sport 16MP shark-fin pop-up camera as seen on OPPO Reno smartphones. It will be backed by a 3,700mAh non-removable battery and also supports VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology for 20W (5V/4A) super fast charging. The OPPO K3 will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box.
While the in-display fingerprint scanner on the OPPO K1 is very slow, the company might new-gen in-display fingerprint scanner on this new device. It comes equipped with a USB Type-C port and includes 3.5mm audio jack for connecting standard earphones or headphones. The device comes with a glossy finish polycarbonate body and will be available in gradient color options. It measures 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm and weighs 191 grams.
