Entry-level Moto E6 Leaked with Thick Bezels & No Fingerprint Scanner

Motorola already launched the Moto G6 series smartphones in 2019. However, the company is yet to launch the successor to last year’s Moto E5 smartphones. As of now, there is no official information about the Moto E6 devices. While the company launched the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus smartphones in 2018, it might only launch one device in 2019. The images of the Moto E6 are now leaked online revealing its first look.

The 2019 Moto E smartphone will be coming with a polycarbonate body. On the front, it sports 2.5D curved glass on top of the display. The large circular camera module is finally replaced with the smaller camera cutout on the top left corner. Also, the fingerprint scanner is missing on this device. Last year’s Moto E5 came with a fingerprint integrated right into the Moto dimple on the rear. The new Moto E6 is also missing the front LED flash.

With all these compromises, we hope the upcoming entry-level smartphone from Motorola comes with a cheaper price tag. While the cheaper smartphones like Realme C2 and Redmi 7 are coming with waterdrop notch displays, the Moto E6 still sports 18:9 display with thick bezels all around it. The device also comes with a removable back panel for inserting the SIM and MicroSD cards. However, we don’t it will come with a removable battery.

As per the earlier leaks, the Moto E6 comes with a 5.45-inch MaxVision display and offers HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution. The device will be powered by the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It will be available in 2GB + 16GB and 2GB + 32GB storage variants. In the camera department, the Moto E6 will offer 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front.

It will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Even though the device won’t be a part of Android One family, it offers vanilla Android with no zero bloatware. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
