After the company asked its users to come up with a name for its next consumer electronic good, i.e., the TV, last year, it now confirms the name — the OnePlus TV. This new announcement from OnePlus assures its TV project is legit, which is a rejoice to OnePlus fans. Back in June, reports were hinting its launch is imminent in India.
This new announcement comes after the recent reports suggesting the OnePlus TV being spotted in Bluetooth SIG submission. According to the Bluetooth listing, the alleged OnePlus TV is supposedly said to be using LED display tech that further runs on Android making it the Android TV. The listing further revealed the model number, screen size parameters ranging from 43 to 75 inches and also the expected markets, which include Indian, US, and Chinese markets.
Welcoming the TV logo announcement, OnePlus has further explained how they have finalized the design. According to the company, the OnePlus TV logo is said to be inspired from classic geometric progression, which also is inspired by several ancient symbols including — a Hindu symbol, the mandala and the famous Greek temple Heraion of Argos. The new OnePlus TV logo is also said to be denoting aesthetics of symmetry and unity, for which the company has utilized the same thickness for both logo and letters.
The new anticipated OnePlus TV’s precise details and specifications are yet to be known.
