Elon Musk – the CEO of Tesla has tweeted that now Telsa users will soon be able to stream videos on Netflix and YouTube in parked Tesla electric vehicles. Furthermore, he also mentioned that when the full self-driving is approved by regulators, they will enable video streaming while moving also so then the users can enjoy watching a video while on the move. The same has been tweeted by Elon Musk from his official account, but nothing was mentioned about the time frame.
His tweet mentions “Ability to stream YouTube & Netflix when the car is stopped coming to your Tesla soon! Has an amazingly immersive, cinematic feel due to the comfy seats & surround sound audio.” In the same tweet, he mentioned about enabling the video while moving when full self-driving by regulators. Earlier it was also said that the ability to watch YouTube was coming and the desire to allow drives and passengers to watch is not a surprise.
There are already a few games which the driver can play on the displays in their car and their game will work only while the car is stationary since the steering wheel can be used as a controller. This will make sure the driver won’t be getting accesses to the game while driving which can lead to fatal accidents and it will help the drivers who wait for a long time in the parking lot.
Last week, Tesla also announced that Chess game is also coming to the Tesla Arcade but we need to see how it could be played. Self-driving technology has been improving ever since but it still going to be taking more time to get completely automatic self-driving cars.
