Later this year, OnePlus will be launching its new flagship smartphone as the successor to last year’s OnePlus 6T. There are rumors that OnePlus 7 might come with a full-screen display with no notch or bezels. As of now, there is no official confirmation about the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone. However, the newly leaked case also reveals the pop-up selfie camera on the top. On the rear, we can also spot triple camera setup.
OnePlus will be facing heat from brands like Xiaomi and Samsung. While the Xiaomi introduced POCO (a.k.a POCOPHONE) to sell smartphones with flagship Snapdragon chipset at a very competitive price, Samsung revamped its strategy for the high-end Galaxy A series to sell flagship level hardware. The upcoming OnePlus 7 will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform.
As seen other 2019 flagship devices, the OnePlus 7 might also feature ultra-wide-angle sensor on the rear. Recently, we have seen several smartphones launching with pop-up selfie cameras. The Vivo V15 priced at Rs 23,990 is the most affordable smartphone to come with a pop-up selfie camera and triple rear cameras. As seen with the last few OnePlus smartphone launches, the upcoming OnePlus 7 might cost more than the OnePlus 6T smartphone.
The company will continue to use the OpticAMOLED display. We also hope the company brings the Warp Charge 30 introduced with the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition to the standard OnePlus 7 smartphone. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
