The offline focused Chinese smartphone brands like Vivo, OPPO, and Gionee have been selling the selfie-focused smartphones in the mid-tier segment. Today, the Indian manufacturer Micromax has launched its latest smartphone in the Selfie series called as Micromax Selfie 3 (E460). Confusingly, the company has launched an entry-level smartphone called Canvas Selfie 3 (Q348) in 2015. Now, the new Selfie 3 is the successor to the Micromax Selfie 2 which was launched in July this year. With the Selfie 3, the company is offering a whopping 16MP sensor on the front.

The Micromax Selfie 3 is priced at Rs. 11,999 and comes in Black and Blue color options. It will be sold through offline stores across the country starting today. Talking about the other specifications of the new Selfie 3 smartphone, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a 2.5D curved glass laid on top. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card slot.

On the rear of the device is the 13MP camera with LED flash. Even the 16MP selfie camera on this device comes accompanied with an LED flash. Just like the Selfie 2, the Selfie 3 also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. However, there will be pre-loaded bloatware apps which will decrease the available storage on this device. The circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device will make the device secure. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity for using with the Jio 4G SIM.

It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery which should at least a day-long battery life. On the connectivity front, the Selfie 3 includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!

great phone and cameras but weak processor for the price, if only it had the same infinity display then it would have worth more than the price!!
