Meizu Smartwatch Image Surfaces Online Sporting Metal Body & Leather Strap

Meizu, the Chinese smartphone brand that yesterday launched their latest handset, the M3E with YunOS in China is reportedly going to introduce a Smartwatch soon. The rumors of the Meizu’s full-fledged smartwatch has been going on for quite a while now as a couple of weeks back the renders of the smart wearable leaked online, which was days before the August 10 Media event.

It was purported that company might unveil the details about this mysteries smartwatch of their, but it wasn’t the case. The event ended with the launch of Helio P10 powered smartphone. That was it. For Smartwatch enthusiasts who might be waiting for this potentially affordable Smartwatch, well, the hope is still there. We are saying it because yet another image of the supposed Meizu Smartwatch has been leaked on Weibo.

Sporting a Meizu logo on the back, from the picture it can be stated that this watch would come with metal casing and probably sport a leather strap, which is something bound to give a classic look and feel on the wrist. I’d say if this is any confirmation of the final design, it seems pretty compelling to us.

What else can be stated from this leaked image? Well, you can see two physical buttons on the right side of the watch, which would probably allow control of interface on the watch. Of course, since the front hasn’t be revealed, it can’t be stated for sure that the Smartwatch would sport a touch enabled display at all. As we have seen smartwatch with dual dealers such as Withings Activite (more of a fitness tracker) range.
