Titan launches Juxt Pro Stainless Steel Smartwatch in India at Rs 22,995

Earlier this year, Titan launched their first ever Smartwatch named JUXT, which was fairly priced at Rs 15,995. Now today the popular watch brand in country has launched their second smartwatch, which is essentially the upgrade to their first model. The new model is launched at more expensive pricing of Rs 22,995 and is exclusively available for purchase at Flipkart.

The new JUXT Pro isn’t nothing else like the first model, which was developed in partnership with HP and only sported a small display for showing notifications and other information. The latest offering from Titan sports rather a fun fledged touch enabled 1.3-inch IPS LCD display having 360×360 pixel resolution.

Note that this is a circular dial watch and it allows users to change the watch faces as they can choose from 20 of them. Sporting a stainless steel case, which has the thickness of 15.2mm making it quiet heavy. So, it is clearly recommended to people only with strong arms. Company claims that it’s latest offering is waterproof, although, brand didn’t share the certification to identify the strength of the water resistance.

You can see basic design aesthetics of the first model in the Pro variant. But there are some improvements such as an all metal body construction and flat out buttons on the side, which makes it comfortable to wear on right hand. The watch can be connected to the smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0. Note that users would have to download the proprietary apps that are available on Android as well as iOS devices too.

The wearable arena in the country is gearing up this year as many foreign brand such as Huawei, Fitbit, Garmin and recently Withings have launched their set of Smartwatches and Fitness tracker with high-end features and pricing models. By the end of the year, India may see growth in sales of wearables as some companies are bringing in affordable wearables to the Indian market.
