Lenovo Z6 With Snapdragon 730 SoC & In-display fingerprint sensor Launched in China

After the successful launch of the flagship Lenovo Z6 Pro early this year and its 5G variant, which was launched recently at MWC Shangai 2019, the company has now launched the rimmed down version of its flagship — the Lenovo Z6. This new smartphone from the company comes under a mid-range segment and has been launched in China.

On the design front, the Lenovo Z6 hosts a familiar design of its flagship with a waterdrop notch and a slightly thicker bezel-display. The Z6 comes with a 6.39-inch OLED FHD+ display that achieves a screen-to-body-ratio of 93.1 percent, and the display further supports HDR10 content playback as well, which is becoming a norm this year with all the popular Android OEMs out there. The display comes with an under display fingerprint sensor for authentication in addition to software-based Face Unlock.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Z6 packs in a Snapdragon 730 SoC, which is an octa-core processor with Adreno 618GPU. Followed by 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage, the Lenovo Z6 further supports expandable storage of up to 512GB. As for the optics, the Lenovo Z6 is equipped with triple rear cameras featuring a 24MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP and 5MP sensor. Up front, the notch beholds a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro is powered by a 4000mAh battery that further supports 15W fast charge as well. On the connectivity front, the Lenovo Z6 supports Bluetooth 5.0, WI-Fi, VoLTE and features a USB Type-C port as well. The Lenovo Z6 ships with Android 9.0 Pie-based ZUI out-of-the-box.

The Lenovo Z6 adds to its current Lenovo Z series line up in China. And, the new Lenovo Z6 is priced at CNY 1,899 (Rs 19,000 approx) for 6GB+64GB variant and 6GB+128GB costs CNY 2,099 (Rs 21,000 approx) and the larger 8GB+128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs 25,000 approx).
