Wearables have created a new trend for fitness enthusiasts out there. While brands like Apple and Samsung are making wearable/watches for premium segments, OEM makers like Xiaomi, Honor, and Lenovo have evolved in launching their individual wearable/fitness trackers. Beijing-headquartered Lenovo had added a new fitness tracker to their wearables portfolio. The company had launched Lenovo Cardio 2 fitness tracker with a heart rate monitor and water resistance capabilities.
Weighing around 18.1g, the new Cardio 2 smart band appears to be sleek when it comes to design. It features a 0.87-inch OLED display and comes with a bunch of significant features that any existing conventional smart bands offer. As for the design, it pretty much matches with the Honor Band 4 launched earlier this year, but with a more prominent display.
To begin with, the Cardio 2 offers a Dynamic Heart-rate monitor with real-time monitoring and claims to be accurate, and the algorithms tend to detect body load to determine the exercise effect as well. Under the hood, the Cardio 2 packs in a Nordic 52832 processor that supports Bluetooth 5.0 as well. The smart band ships with a 100mAh battery that claims to last up to 20 days on a single charge, which is commendable. To set it apart from the competition, the Cardio 2 band comes with a built-in USB Charging port that can be connected to a laptop or a PC directly without the need of any dongle or whatsoever.
Further, the Lenovo Cardio 2 offers water resistance of upto 50 meters, which can be helpful for swimming or can be worn in rainy conditions as well. It also features multiple sport modes to track your physical activities that include — running, swimming cycling and more. Also, the Cardio 2 band comes with Sleep tracking and motion tracking modes as well.
Since the Lenovo Cardio 2 is a smart band, it indeed comes with smart notifications for your smartphone, wherein users can have a glance at their notifications and voice call alerts instantly. Moreover, users can install the Lenovo Life app on their devices to have all the activities tracked on the go.
And, lastly, this feature-packed Cardio 2 band from Lenovo will be available on Amazon India for Rs 1,499. The Chinese OEM maker has also recently launched its latest trimmed down flagship Lenovo Z6 in China, under its ‘Z series’ Stay connected to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
