Gionee F103 Pro with 3GB RAM & 13MP Camera Launched at Rs. 11,990

Last year, we had exclusively covered about the all new Fashion series (F Series) from Gionee. The company had launched the Gionee F103 as the first smartphone in the F series and is also the first Gionee smartphone manufactured under “Make in India” campaign. Now the company launched the Gionee F103 Pro as the successor for last years Gionee F103. It is priced at Rs. 11,990 and is available through online and offline stores across the country.

The device can be a good competitor for OPPO A37, which was launched last week at the same price. It sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS In-cell display along with a 2.5D glass laid on top and a pixel density of 294 ppi. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with highly customized Amigo UI laid on top. Under the hood, the F103 Pro is powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

It packs 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded upto 128GB. Coming to the camera department, it has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and PDAF that can focus in just 0.1 seconds. On the front, there is 5MP selfie camera with built-in beauty filters. The device is kept powered on by a 2,400mAh removable battery which is rated to deliver 20 hours of talk time and lasts upto 470 hours on standby.

The device measures 145.3 x 70.5x 8.5 mm and weighs 143 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It has dual SIM dual standby support and offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE. The Gionee S8 with 3D Touch display that was unveiled at the MWC 2016 is yet to be made available in India. Recently the company also launched the Gionee S6 Pro as the successor to the Gionee S6.

The S6 Pro is priced at 1999 Yuan and features decent configuration. On the front of this metal build device, we can find the 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. It is powered by the Helio P10 octa-core processor and includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There are no details if the S6 Pro will be launched outside of its home country or not.
