The best camera features that are introduced with the latest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are the 4K video recording and the Live Photo. These features cannot be added to the other iPhones even after upgrading to the latest iOS 9. While the 4K video recording depends on the hardware, the Live Photos is totally based on the software part.
These Live Photos can be captured just like a normal image. Before capturing, you need to select a circular option that is in between the HDR and Timer option in the camera app.
Few days back, we have jailbroken the iPhone 6 that was running on iOS 9.0.2. The Live Photos shows 1.5 secs footage of before and after capturing the image. This will be stored in the gallery along with the normal images and to view the Live Photos, you just need to touch with some high pressure i.e.; 3D Touch.
If you own an iPhone 6 and 6Plus along with the other earlier models, you will miss this feature. Once you jailbroken your iPhone, these features can be added by installing ‘EnableLivePhotos’ mod. Once it’s installed, the little circular option on the camera app will be displayed.
