After launching the Apple Watch Series 4, the company also unveiled the Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max powered by the 7nm A12 Bionic chip. Now, we got the cheaper iPhone XR to succeed the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone XS-like edge-to-edge display is certainly a major improvement. However, the iPhone XR is using an LCD panel and lacks 3D Touch. Instead, the 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display comes with Haptic touch.

The device comes with Aluminum frame and glass back body. While the iPhone XS devices IP68 certified, the iPhone XR is only IP67 certified. It comes powered by the 7nm Apple A12 Bionic chip featuring a 4-core GPU, 6-core CPU, and a dedicated 8-core Neural Engine. It comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. On the rear, there is a single 12MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and quad-LED flash.

On the front, there is a 7MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID. The iPhone XR also offers stereo speakers and faster FaceID. It also supports dual SIM dual standby along with wireless charging, and Bluetooth 5.0. Apple also mentioned iPhone XR to last 90 minutes longer than the iPhone 8 Plus. The Apple iPhone XR will be retailing from $749 and comes in six different color options.
