Apple Launches iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max with 7nm A12 Chip & up to 512GB Storage

After unveiling the Apple Watch Series 4, the company right away announced the last year’s Apple iPhone X to be the number one smartphone in the world. Now, let’s talk about the Apple iPhone XS (iPhone 10 S) and iPhone XS Max (iPhone 10 S Max) – the most advanced iPhones ever made by Apple. These new iPhones will be available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray color options. Both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be supporting Dual SIM Dual standby technology using a nano SIM and an eSIM.

Talking about the build quality, the both the new iPhone XS will be coming with the surgical-grade stainless steel frame and sports most durable glass on the front and rear. While the iPhone XS sports 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display, the larger iPhone XS Max sports a whopping 6.5-inch display and uses the same Super Retina OLED. They support 3D Touch, HDR 10 playback, and Dolby Vision. The devices are also IP68 certified which means it can survive even after falling into a pool.

They also continue to sport stereo speakers and much faster Face ID. Under the hood is the powerful 7nm A12 Bionic chip featuring 6.9 billion transistors. The GPU on these devices is 50% faster than the one on A11 Bionic. There is a 4-core GPU, 6-core CPU, and a dedicated 8-core Neural Engine for performing faster AI tasks. While both the devices measures 7.7 mm thickness, the iPhone XS Max is 31 grams heavier than the 177 grams iPhone XS. It comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 512GB storage options.

In terms of optics, the iPhone XS devices sports dual camera setup featuring a 12MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Both the sensor includes OIS and can capture videos up to 4K resolution at 60 fps and 1080p slow-mo videos at 240 fps. There is a 7MP front camera with a f/2.2 aperture and Retina Flash. The Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be costing Rs 99,900 and Rs 109,900 respectively in India.
