At the yesterday’s WWDC 2016 keynote, Apple announced the all new iOS 10 along with the upgraded macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. The iOS 10 will be the major upgrade next iOS 9 Normally Apple makes their latest OS compatible with as many devices as possible, but this time, there are few devices left out from the iOS 10 compatibility list. The beta version of the latest iOS 10 is already available, and users can try out the latest iOS software, but be aware that there will be few glitches since this is not the final version.

Below is the list of devices that will be upgraded to the latest iOS 10 once it is released.

Even though the above mentioned devices support, not all the features will be available to all the devices. Since only the latest iPhone 6S and 6S Plus support 3D Touch, we can guess the 3D Touch related features to be limited to these devices. Apple also announced that its app store has moe than 2 million apps with 130 million downloads, while the Android Play Store had reached the 2 million apps milestone in February this year. The iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad Mini 1, and iPod Touch (5th Gen) are the devices left out of getting iOS 10 update.
