Apple iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus Pre-orders Top 4 Million in First 24 Hours

We didn’t expect this, did we? Although Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were expected to do well in the market because of the larger screens that Apple has for the first time used, but it did exceptional well and the numbers as claimed by Apple, are record-breaking.
Tim Cook – Pre-orders for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus set a new record for Apple.
This is a record number, as the first day pre-order count for Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus together accounted for four million. This is quite a huge demand and response from consumers, given that Apple has been criticised right after the announcement and there were hiccups on the day of pre-order when several users were not able to pre-order the device on time.
“iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are better in every way, and we are thrilled customers love them as much as we do,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “Pre-orders for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus set a new record for Apple, and we can’t wait to get our best iPhones yet into the hands of customers starting this Friday.”
While these numbers are for the pre-orders, Apple is going to make the devices available at the official stores from September 19, 8:00 a.m., and the company encourages to either reach the stores early or place the order online and reach the store later for pick-up.

If you are someone still wondering whether to get one, iPhone 6 is a good bet only if you are someone who wanted a large screen, i.e. 4.7-inch and bigger. Because, whatever in the interface, is similar in the recent iOS devices, but the iPhone for the first time has seen a huge change in the screen size, especially for the fact that Apple has learned this is the time when people are looking for larger screen for content viewing.
