The Corporate houses that have ties with Press Information Bureau (PIB), which generally means JIO would be offer it’s enterprise plans to every big media houses in the country. In the coming days, this is going to take over the big media houses as the employees of the company are said to take part in the beta testing process.
The Telecom giant expressed that it would be adding the list of small media houses as well in the coming days after first enterprise phase is completed. Though, do make a note that it isn’t confirmed whether which kind of companies the telecom giant is going to approach.
The most interesting part of these plans would be that the SIM cards issued would be pre-registered. This makes enterprises slightly advantageous when it comes to getting activated SIM cards. As many customers haven’t seen their SIM cards activated. It was the main reason for stopping the SIM issue procedure, while some select stores where bandwidth isn’t the problem are still issuing the SIM cards.
It is advantageous in a way that Enterprises won’t have to get in long queues as the footfall at Reliance Digital and Xpress Mini stores are quite high. Additionally, they are also saved from the trouble of activation procedure, as reportedly, the current scenario is that it takes up to 7-10 days for activation of JIO SIM cards.
Note that Corporate JIO SIM cards would be pre-activated for complementary access to unlimited HD Voice, video calling, SMS and high-speed data services including the access to JIO premium apps, which has been recently renamed. Users with such SIM cards would just have to insert the SIM into their 4G LTE-enabled smartphones. That’s it; they would be good to go.
The Corporate JIO SIMs would be different than regular JIO SIM cards. They would be coming in a blue colour pack as opposed to orange packaging for regular SIM cards. Additionally, the tariffs after the 90 days preview offer expires would be different from regular SIM cards. As they are entitled to discounted data and voice tariffs.
