ZOPO Flash X1 & Flash X2 Smartphones with 18:9 Display Launched in India, Pricing Starts from Rs. 6,999

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZOPO has launched two new entry-level smartphones in the Indian market. Following the trend of 18:9 displays, both the ZOPO Flash X1 and Flash X2 comes with affordable price tag and features displays with 18:9 aspect ratio. While the Flash X1 costs Rs. 6,999, the Flash X2 with slightly better hardware comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Earlier to these devices, the Micromax Canvas Infinity priced at Rs. 9,999 is the affordable smartphone in the Indian market with 18:9 display.

Apart from the different screen sizes, both the Flash X1 and Flash X2 comes with the same design featuring a metal frame and polycarbonate body. The smartphones come in Coral Blue, Alien Black, and Citrine Gold color options. They also support dual SIM dual standby using the hybrid SIM slot. On the rear of the devices, we can spot the circular fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options on these devices include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone port, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. Unlike the other entry-level smartphones, the new ZOPO smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

ZOPO Flash X1

The ZOPO Flash X1 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 640 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It packs 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 64GB using a MicroSD card. Talking about the cameras, there is an 8MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras include an LED flash. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery that might not last more than a day of usage.

ZOPO Flash X2

Coming to the Flash X2, it comes with a slightly bigger 5.99-inch display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. As seen on the Flash X1, the Flash X1 also comes with the 64-bit MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. At Rs. 9,999, the device offers only 16GB of onboard storage but the user can further expand up to 64GB via a MicroSD card slot. In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with the same 8MP and 5MP cameras on the rear and front of the device. With a bigger form factor, the device is also backed by a slightly bigger 3,380mAh battery.

Both the ZOPO Flash X2 and Flash X1 will be available in stock starting from next month. As of there is no confirmation over the exclusive online partner for selling these two new smartphones. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
