Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 OTA Update Starts Rolling Out to Redmi Note 4 in India

The Global announcement of the MIUI 10 was made in September at an event held in India and was rolled out to Redmi Y2, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro devices in the same month. Now Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM for its Redmi Note 4 Smartphone and the update also brings October security patch along. Since the Redmi Note 4 was listed in the second batch of devices to receive MIUI 10 Global Stable update in India so we can expect other devices in the list also to be updated soon.

The update will be coming as MIUI 10.1.1.0. NCFMIFI and the size of it is 320 MB in size which is still based on Android Nougat 7.0. Furthermore, the update will also bring October security patch along with few big changes like Full-screen gestures, Redesigned Volume Sliders, Redesigned Notification Panel, Natural sound system, Improved multitasking management and few more.

The user can download the recovery ROM and flash it using the recovery method if you have not received the update yet. You can also go tot he setting of the device and check for the update manually from the about phone section and download it. Make sure the battery on the device is more than 60 percent before the installation starts and do make sure you back up your date just be on the safe side.

With the new update, the users will be getting natural and ever-changing sounds, with Ambient sounds of the forest, beach, drizzle, stove fire and summer night which will help the users to relax and focus. The system apps like Clock and Note also got a major revamp along with many optimizations and improvements.
