Last month, Xiaomi India teased the launch of a new high-end smartphone powered by Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform. While the company is teasing to launch the Snapdragon 855-powered Redmi K20 smartphones in China, it might launch the Mi A3 Android One smartphones in the Indian market. Now, the company also teased to launch a new 48MP smartphone in India. We think its the same device which was earlier mentioned to feature the new Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform.
Currently, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is the only Xiaomi smartphone to feature 48MP camera in India. At Rs 13,999, it is also the most affordable to sport Sony IMX586 sensor. The company used the same sensor even on their 2019 flagship smartphone. Based on the rumors, the Mi A 3 will be coming with a triple camera setup on the rear featuring an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a telephoto sensor. Xiaomi might also offer an in-display fingerprint scanner with the Mi A3 smartphones.
While the Mi A3 will sport Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform, the Mi A3 Lite is rumored to come with Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. Since the devices will be part of Android One family, they will be running on the stock Android UI. In China, the company will be launching the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. The upcoming Redmi K20 smartphones will be available in Carbon Fiber Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red color options.
While the Redmi K20 comes in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB storage options, the Redmi K20 Pro will be available in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage options. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Xiaomi smartphones!
