Xiaomi Smart watch to Launch Soon as Millet Bracelet 2

Just after announcing the pricing of Apple Watch, the internet broke with Memes mocking the pricing of the first Apple Watch, while some would agree about it, some won’t, you can read our view about it here. Though, if you feel like this Apple Watch is not yours to purchase at first place, and looking for a good smartwatch in market, then there is a new smartwatch coming your way.

Xiaomi is coming up with a smartwatch, and it sure will be priced aggressively like their Mi band. In a report leaked to team at 36kr, where it has been revealed in a talk between Lei Jun and Huan Hua rice technology CEO, Wang that their companies have partnered up for the Millet Smartwatch, which is also known as the next generation of Mi Band (Aka Millet Bracelet).

The Millet Bracelet 2, may sport a completely new design and will have the option of more personalization. Boasting the features would be a new set of sensors that is seen on the other bands like Jawbone UP3 and Microsoft Band. As well as a heart rate monitor might be coming along too.

Moreover, the company is also interested in adding NFC technology to the device, as the recently launched Apple Watch does it too, using the Apple Pay service integration. And that may be the important factor for Xiaomi too in the coming future.

While the company have the ability to price their devices in such a way that they can disrupt the entire range of products by other firms, now it would be interesting to see this going forward and actually seeing the product comes to life.
