Earlier this month, Xiaomi’s wearable brand Huami confirmed to soon launch the Mi Band 4 with new features. The popular Mi Band fitness trackers are manufactured by Huami. The company also sells its own wearable devices under the Amazfit brand. Currently, Xiaomi is the largest wearable brand in the world. Unlike Apple and Fitbit, Xiaomi sells its wearable devices at very cheap price. Now in 2019, the company will be launching its new low-cost fitness tracker Mi Band 4 as the successor to last year’s Mi Band 3.

The Mi Band 4 is now certified by Bluetooth SIG and it is already listed on their website. It comes with the model number XMSH08HM and supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Just like last year, Xiaomi will the launch Mi Band 4 NFC variant alongside the standard Mi Band 4. The Mi Band 4 NFC variant comes with mobile payments option and will be limited just to Chinese market. As seen on its predecessor, the new Mi Band will also come with a touchscreen OLED display and weeks long battery life.

We will be knowing the complete specifications and features only when it gets officially unveiled. The company might also keep the pricing close to the Mi Band 3 pricing. The Mi Band 3 and Mi Band 3 NFC are priced at CNY 169 and CNY 199 respectively. It is still one of the best fitness trackers at that price point. However, there are also several alternatives from the brands like Huawei and Lenovo which are also selling their fitness trackers at very aggressive price point.
